Kazi Rafiqul Alam, Managing Director of Trust Group, recently visited the world-renowned Canton Fair (China Import and Export Fair) to explore new avenues in international trade, logistics partnerships, and supply chain innovation. The visit marks a significant step toward expanding Trust Group’s global presence and securing international collaborations for Bangladesh’s trade ecosystem.
During his visit, Mr. Alam engaged with global logistics and e-commerce leaders, including top executives of HCDC Holding, a European logistics conglomerate. The discussions focused on strengthening cross-border logistics, streamlining import-export operations, and evaluating Bangladesh as a potential hub for international e-commerce warehousing and distribution.
“Bangladesh is rapidly emerging as a strategic trade partner in South Asia,” said Kazi Rafiqul Alam. “My visit to the Canton Fair was driven by a vision to bring world-class logistics, automation, and e-commerce infrastructure to Bangladesh while opening new doors for local SMEs to access the global market.”
The Canton Fair, held biannually in Guangzhou, China, is Asia’s largest and most influential trade fair, attracting thousands of manufacturers, traders, and business leaders from over 200 countries. Trust Group’s presence at the event reinforces its ambition to build bridges between Bangladesh and global commerce powerhouses.
This initiative aligns with Trust Group’s broader goals of promoting international trade, enhancing logistics capacity, and fostering innovation in Bangladesh’s private sector.
