Trust University is proud to announce that its Founder & Chairman, Advocate Kazi Shafiqul Alam, attended the prestigious national dialogue organized by the Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh (APUB) titled “Implementing the National Budget 2026–2027: The Strategic Role of Private Universities in Human Resource Development and Economic Growth.” The event was held on 12 July 2026 at the Ballroom (Level-1), The Westin Dhaka, Gulshan-2.

The high-level forum brought together leaders from the government, higher education institutions, and the private university sector to discuss the implementation of the National Budget 2026–2027 and the expanding role of private universities in producing skilled graduates, advancing research and innovation, and contributing to Bangladesh’s sustainable economic development.

The program was graced by Hon’ble Finance & Planning Minister Mr. Amir Khusru Mahmud Chowdhury, MP, as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Hon’ble Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, attended as the Special Guest. Their presence underscored the Government’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between policymakers and private universities in achieving the nation’s long-term development goals.
